Too often people are unable to see their true value. Their judgement is clouded by society’s beliefs, what other people think, and most importantly – things that don’t really matter!
I’m here to tell you that you are important.
You are unique and the world needs you!
Do not limit yourself to what people say you are or are not!
The power within you is limitless – sometimes you just have to search inside yourself.
I ran across this article today from a fellow blogger, and was inspired to share.
In order to become successful beyond your imagination, you must constantly be working on yourself above all else. Now this doesn’t mean neglect your friends and family. What is does mean is that unless you were brought up in a home where anything is possible and everyone had the “right mindset” to help steer you from the get go?
You probably have a lot of incorrect beliefs about the world.
Just saying.
In every business I have ever been in, they have focused on building up what’s between your ears – because that’s where your success truly starts. You’ve got to get your mind right before the rest will fall in line.
Now remember – Rome wasn’t build in a day.
And you can only eat an elephant one bite at a time …
So don’t get stressed when you find it a struggle to do this.
Be patient with yourself. Improve yourself a little bit each day – miracles will happen!
5 Powerful Tips to Find Your Strengths
Make a List of Things Your Good At
As I mentioned earlier – chances are you don’t think very highly of yourself. But don’t fall into this false way of thinking!
This is a great exercise for you to focus on the positive things you have going on in your life your negativity may be overshadowing.
Are you good at pulling images to together to create something beautiful?
Are you good at diffusing tense situations between people?
Are you good at being a courteous driver and always allowing people to move over?
Focus on what you think you’re good at and write it down.
Allow yourself a few days to ponder this, as it might not come very easily for you.
Write it down even if you don’t think it’s a skill. (Great at baking? Write it down!)
When doing this exercise, also include past projects, jobs, and hobbies. You’d be amazed where you can find these things and where you’ve used your strengths before.
Add to Your List Things That Make You EXCITED!
Are you excited about travelling to new and exotic locations?
What about passionate for helping animals?
Do you have a particular hobby that you just SQUEE over?
Maybe there’s something in your current job that gets you excited!
Whatever it is – write it down!
Find ways to incorporate your passions into everything you do – especially your business!
If you enjoy what you do, you’ll do it better.
Ask Others That Are Close to You About What Skills They Feel You Have
The key here is honestly. Be sure when you ask the person, they’re not going to sugar coat or make stuff up.
If you’re in a home business, find a mentor or upline leader to ask. Someone who you’ve worked with before.
Those close to you could be a family member or even a long time friend.
Whomever you choose, ask for specific examples where they believe you have demonstrated that strength. This way you can picture it in your mind what they see, so you can see it in your mind and focus on it. Because sometimes what we think is trivial may make a huge impact on someone else.
Think Outside the Box
This is where you start to be creative, and it’s in your final review of your list!
Are you good at making people laugh or picking them up when they’re down?
Are you awesome at basket weaving? Baking cookies?
Maybe you’re really well organized, focused, or can manage well.
Don’t limit yourself. Remember – this is an exercise for you to realize how awesome you are!
Experiment – Try New Things!
What have you always wanted to do or have been interested in trying out?
Take courage and do it! You may find a new skill in the process.
For me? When I was introduced to this video I found a new skill that I enjoy and loving what it has been doing for people.

Once you’ve been able to determine your strengths, continue to focus on them.
Become abundant in your feels, my friends!
When you focus on your strengths, you focus less on your weaknesses.
You become more confident and able to crash through self-imposed barriers.
