Back in school, I was pretty
good with math – so much so, in fact,
that my mother offered my tutoring
services to a family member.
Now, at the time I knew
something that no one else did …
I know that sometimes, no matter
how brilliant a teacher or professor
may be … sometimes it’s not the material
that you can’t learn, but the mentor you
are unable to learn from.
I knew this even in high school.
How?
Because my senior year of high school,
I was in the Calculus class where I
was almost FAILING!!!
70s on average for this class,
when in every other math class it was
either a super high B or an A.
Most average people would simply
assume they weren’t smart enough.
But I knew different.
And I knew I was not learning
from this teacher, and if something
didn’t change it could drastically
effect my future.
How does this relate to my cousin?
I knew this going in to my tutoring
sessions with her. I would actively
seek out ways to teach her the material.
And it worked!
Because I expected her to be
smarter than she believed
herself to be …
And because I was looking for
ways to help her specifically
to understand the material …
She caught on quickly.
Has there ever been a time
in your life where you noticed
that when you took the time to
imagine someone how they could
be vs how they currently are, that
their attitude improved?
Perhaps their work ethic changed?
Perhaps your own outlook
of said person changed?
The above image is a quote
that outlines the age-old
statement of the Golden Rule:
Do unto others as you would
have them do unto you.
It’s slightly different, but
it works in a similar manner.
So today I dare you to think
differently about the people around
you and to treat them as they could be…
Your interactions with them in this
manner might be turning point in their day,
in their lives, or may simply bring
a smile to their face that hasn’t
been seen in too long.
Have a wonderful rest of your day!

My biggest passion is helping other people
achieve time and financial freedom.
If you want that for yourself or someone else …
If you’re looking to create more
time freedom or more financial freedom,
then lock arms with me!
Remember – in order to have something you’ve never had,
you must do something you’ve never done.
Just be sure to take the shortcut and
work with people who have been there
and have your best intentions at heart!
