It’s a known fact that people follow leaders, and most leaders know a lot of things that got them to where they are!
How does learning a new word every day help you in that endeavor?
Well, learning the Word of the Day from any of your favorite dictionary sites ( like DictionaryReference.com for example ) may not get you directly to the goal you are seeking, however you will have several perks!
How so might you ask?
Here are some perks I have personally found when reading the Word of the Day:
-
I’ve learned something new!
-
I’ve improved brain functionality.
-
I’ve increased my vocabulary.
-
I am improving my ability to express myself better.
-
By using the new words I learn, I can in effect help others improve their vocabulary.
So here’s to you! Today’s Word of the Day!
And that’s it! Seems like based on it’s definition, it should be listed under itself in the dictionary, right? 😉
