I’d like you to think about that title for a moment.

It seems like it should be common sense, right?

I mean – if you want to achieve something, you have to take action.

And only when you take daily and consistent action will you achieve success!

So why is it that people get upset when they fail?

Why do people blame others for their failure?

Why do they quit?

One of the people I look up to is Steve Jobs – a brilliant entrepreneur who truly cared about his customers. Someone not afraid to break the mold … Someone not afraid to:

Think different.

Speak different.

Do different.

Be different.

Because who wants to be just like everyone else?
Who wants to be stuck in their circumstances, unable to do things due to lack of time or money?
Who wants to be sheeple?

I know I sure don’t.

I’m also not a believer of coincidences. I believe that all things happen for a reason.

I ran across this photo today of said mentor:

We all have 24 hours in a day. What we choose to do with those 24 hours determines the course of our lives.

Decide you want to stay out all night until 1-2 in the morning instead of focus on ways to increase your income and get out of a job you hate?
You can’t be upset that your life isn’t the way you want it to be. You made the choice to not focus on achieving your goals.

And then you’ve got your dream stealers …
What’s bad about them is that they are usually well meaning.
Usually friends or family who want what’s best for you.
Who don’t want you to take too much of a risk.
Maybe even those who don’t want to be left behind …

And then I found this photo today:

And it reminded me that a lot of people never achieve their success for a lot of different reasons:

• they don’t take daily consistent action
• they don’t follow the system
  they don’t listen to their leaders / mentors (the people who have already had success and can steer them away from pitfalls)
• they listen to their broke friends or relatives
• they listen to people who have never achieved the success they give advice on
• they can’t forgive someone or some thing from their past
• they can’t forgive someone or something from their present
• they’re afraid of the future
• they’re afraid of failure
• they’re afraid of “no”
• they’re afraid of “yes”
• they’re afraid of what to do after that first success milestone
• they’re afraid of what people will think about them
• they’re afraid of ruining their reputation
• they’re afraid of what people will say about them
• they’re afraid of people deciding to no longer be in their lives because of what they want to do and achieve

And I bet the list could go on. But here’s the thing …

Whatever happened in your past doesn’t have to determine your future – you do!
Fear is only False Evidence Appearing Real.
When you fear something you are only causing undo stress in anticipation of an event that may never happen.
Don’t worry what comes after the next achievement – take it one step at a time!
Inability to forgive can cause a nasty slew of backlash in your life – including negative effects on your health! Why not then your business as well?
Friends support you no matter what. And anyone no longer in your present means there’s room for growth and new life!

And finally?

Haters are gonna hate.
People will talk about you – whether or good or bad you shouldn’t let it phase you.
Live the life your heart leads you to. Follow your passions.
You can’t get everyone to like you or agree with you.
So don’t worry about what anyone says about you.
The way you live your life should be proof of who you are.
And anyone who would bear false witness is not someone you want in your house.

So that’s it from me for today.
Be sure to keep an open mind throughout your day.
Remember that allowing obstacles to stop you from achieving your dreams?
It’s just an excuse to be a failure.
So don’t be a failure – take success into your own hands!
