In 2015, a new update to Facebook notes was added for more customization & aesthetic improvements. And as recent as December 2020, Lifewire had an article on how to use them.
So what happened? And how can you access them today?
Just like all technology that you didn’t build yourself, it is expected to change – and not always to our benefit.
Sometime in 2021 (possibly late 2020) they phased out one feature that many knew and used – Facebook Notes.
While you can no longer edit or add new notes, you can still locate your old ones.
How?
Well there’s no special button or link to click on the site – it’s been well hidden!
But you can simply click here.
Looking to recover your notes? I haven’t tried this yet, but it’s an option.

While your link works to the Information page, the Notes link on that page doesn’t work.
Yea – they changed it within the last 6 months or so unfortunately. It won’t work for me either. Thank you for reminding me I needed to update this page.
Actually – I just tried again and after waiting a while … It worked!!! So it may just take time if you have a lot of notes.
