Here are the 5 major rules on how to create better first impressions online. Additional tips & insight are found in the training above.

1. 1. 1. Remember:  the other person is a human being!
         • What messages do you hate getting?
         • What do you wish people would say on first contact?
         • Treat others as you wish to be treated.
      2. Before contacting them in any way, check out their profile and engage!
      3. Do not just message someone with a copy/paste message.
         • People want to feel seen – tailor your conversation to them
         • Let them know how you found them
      4. Include your WHY you are contacting them.
         • Be original & genuine
         • Share your intention (e.g.:  seeking a power partner, new friend, etc)
         • Connecting after they gave you permission to do so
      5. Do not add someone without creating a connection!
         • You only have 5,000 spaces on your friend list
         • Unless you know them, why have someone on your list that won’t help you beat the algorithm?
         • People can block or report you – which can flag Facebook
         • Can burn bridges before even able to cross (people might get mad)
