Why would anyone be interested in personal development?
I love this explanation from Wikipedia:
Personal development includes activities that improve awareness and identity, develop talents and potential, build human capital and facilitate employability, enhance quality of life and contribute to the realization of dreams and aspirations. The concept is not limited to self-help but includes formal and informal activities for developing others in roles such as teacher, guide, counselor, manager, life coach or mentor. When personal development takes place in the context of institutions, it refers to the methods, programs, tools, techniques, and assessment systems that support human development at the individual level in organizations.
It’s been on my heart for a really long time that I become a wealth and life coach. I followed my path in life so that my future children would not have to go through what I went through … But if I knew now what I knew then? I may have made different decisions.
And I realized within the last few years that I want to be able to provide the knowledge I have been accumulating in order to improve the lives of those around me and my circles of influence.
So I would like to thank you for stopping by and helping me achieve one of my dreams … and also provide you with some of the sites I use for some of my own personal training.
Enjoy!

Modern Problems, Ancient Solutions: Ancient Jewish Wisdom via Rabbi Daniel Lapin
Did you know that you can learn a lot from the ancient Jewish wisdom? (I didn’t.)
Being of Jewish descent, you would think I would know a lot about my own heritage, right?
Well, when you don’t grow up in a household that follows all traditions or even ensure that you are knowledgeable … It’s kind of hard to be a “good Jew”. (Whatever that means to you.)
Now, I am a follower of Christ. But I was shocked when I started listening to the teachings of Rabbi Daniel Lapin. There are links in the Good Book that most people do not understand or follow because they do not know the wisdom of ancient Jewish knowledge.
I truly believe that whether you are Jewish, Christian, or (honestly) any other faith … No matter your background, I agree that everyone needs a Rabbi.
There is a mountain of wealth in the ancient Jewish wisdom … whether it is understanding the 10 Commandments, learning more information on how to eliminate debt and increase your wealth, or even about the problems in the Middle East … There is so much you can learn from this incredible Rabbi.

Zig Ziglar’s Home Page
I was first introduced to this incredible figure, outstanding motivational speaker, and power leader when I first started attending trainings for the business side of my VIP lifestyle on a beer budget club.
Zig Ziglar has had an incredible impact on my life. He is the creator of the Born to Win book, written from his audio series.
He has helped thousands of people realize that we were all born to win, but we’re programmed to lose. His teachings not only help you be a better version of you, but helps rebuild relationships, increase motivation, improve goal setting, and so much more!

Official Tony Robbins Site
I was also first introduced to Tony Robbins when I went to a training for my first direct sales business. I loved the personal development those trainings provided, and so I wanted to dive into anything and everything I could get my hands on.
So I went to an event in October 2014 called Unleash the Power Within — and it was INCREDIBLE! There was so much I took away from the event, so many people I met with the same mindset (which is important when you want to achieve something most people don’t care to shoot for) … And then the programs you can do through him!
There’s so much people can learn from others in any field … And Tony has stuff on time management, debt elimination, fixing broken relationships …
Every success and wealth mentor I have ever know has said:
Find someone who has what you want and do what they do.
And it’s so true. Why go through all of the hardship and heartache when you can learn from the people who have already been through it and can lead you through the muck?

John C Maxwell Home Page
One of my major dreams is that I want to lead people. I want to be able to inspire thousands of people to improve their lives … to do ordinary things on a daily basis in order to live an extraordinary life …
And in order to be a great leader, you must also learn to be a great follower. So I listened to Scott Ross when he mentioned John C Maxwell in one of his trainings …
And I have read several things by John Maxwell that were both enlightening and inspiring.
If you’re looking to lead a team (whether as a manager working for someone else, or leading a team in a business of your own), then you can either check this out, or you can check out John C Maxwell. ^_^

Rich Dad Poor Dad (Robert Kiyosaki) Home Page
And finally … Robert Kiyosaki!
Again, I was introduced to Robert Kiyosaki when I went to one of the very first trainings for my first home business.
I purchased the “Rich Dad Poor Dad” on my Kindle and read it within 2-3 days. And this was the first book to change my views on money, assets and liabilities.
There is so much that can be learned from the materials provided by the Rich Dad company … Now, some of it may be redundant, but as I mention in the above video, the cone of learning confirms that you need to have a constant reinforcement.
Over time, we as humans forget things – especially if what we’re learning has no link for us … No way for the information to be cemented into our brains.
Like Zig Ziglar said, “People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing, that’s why we recommend it daily.”
I hope these websites will provide value to you. If you’ve already been using these tools, please leave me a comment below and share how your life has been impacted!
If you would like regular access to a wealth of knowledge, people who have been there done that, and other amazing things to help increase prosperity in your life, check out the presentation below!
We were all born to win and programmed to lose … Why not reprogram your brain for success?

Thank you for sharing the excellent websites! Personal development is so important for every stage of our lives. Even when we think we have “made it”, we still need to continue to learn and grow. Much love and light!

Alicia – you are so right! Too often we think that same thought … “Oh, I got the job!” “I have house I always wanted.” But once they get there, they don’t improve themselves further and shoot for even bigger dreams! The richest places in the world are the graveyards – the place where untapped potential, unwritten music and books … Everything that could have happened, lost when they ran out of time or failed to take action on their dreams. Your success level is predicated by your awareness level. You cannot succeed beyond your level of awareness! 🙂
